Adult education is an intentional and essential ingredient
of St. John's, providing opportunity for interaction between
members of the community of faith to:
- Reflect upon and teach faith traditions
- Deepen one's journey of faith
- Strengthen one's understanding of what it means to live out
a life of faith in the World.
Reading, learning and sharing are some of the missions for
Christian Education at St. John's. The Bible is filled with
information on living and being a member of God's family. We
need to grow in the Spirit, and studying together offers each of
us the chance to share our faith journey.

Sermon Dig
Do you wish you had more time to study the Bible texts preached on
any particular Sunday? Do you want to ask questions about
things in the text that you don't understand? Come to this
Church school session and participate in an interactive Bible
Study. As we read the texts, we will focus on the four c's:
context, content, connection to life & the character of God.

Jesus
Behind the Music
In this
musical appreciation adult class, the participants will be
magically transported to an intimate studio setting where we
will take a look at different Contemporary Christian artists and
anthems each week. We will listen to the music, examine
the text and its biblical significance, learn about the artists
and their songs, watch video performance, and even learn the
song ourselves. But most importantly we will find out how
these artists use the power of Jesus to make these songs so
popular and irresistible. The repertoire will include
songs we sing here at St. John's and new ones that will be
introduced shortly by the Praise Team and Youth Band. This
is a class for everyone regardless of your musical skills.
We will pray together, learn together and sing God's praises
together. Join us and bring a friend.
