In this week's text, the owner of the vineyard wants to cut down a tree because it isn't producing good fruit. The gardener convinces him to give it another year and some more attention. If we accept that the tree represents the church, what good fruits are we producing as St Johns? or, what good fruits do we lack?

In another place of the Bible, the fruits of the Spirit are described as: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
