St. Johns Staff


	Pastor Mark Ruzicka Senior Pastor mruzicka@stjohnschambersburg.org Pastor Mark Ruzicka came to St. John's at the beginning of 2008. Previously he served Christ Church UCC in Bethlehem, PA. He studied at Princeton Theological Seminary and Susquehanna University. He and his wife Christel have 2 children: Hope and Jacob and expecting their third. He enjoys baseball, hiking and biking.
	Pastor Jeffrey B. Lukens Associate Pastor of Children & Youth jlukens@stjohnschambersburg.org Pastor Jeff began his ministy with us in December of 2010. St. John's is his first call as a full time pastor. Previously Jeff served in Youth Ministry and Christian Education at churches in Connecticut. Most recently Jeff was on the staff at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a Chaplain. Originally from Connecticut, Jeff and his wife Megan now make their home in Chambersburg and enjoy searching out the best ice cream in Franklin County.
	Miriam (Mim) Meglan Director of Music mmeglan@stjohnschambersburg.org Miriam (Mim) Meglan is our Director Music. She majored in Music (pipe organ) at Sweet Briar College; has done graduate work in choral and instrumental conducting at the University of Virginia and The Westminster Choir College; studies organ privately with Alan Morrison of The Curtis Institute of Music. She serves as Dean of the Central Maryland Chapter and Convener of the Baltimore-Washington District of the American Guild of Organists. Born and raised in Waynesboro, PA, Mim and her husband, Vaughn, live on Gambrill Mountain in Frederick County, MD where she enjoys walking in the woods and reading.
	Sharon Kline Church Secretary office@stjohnschambersburg.org The Lord opened up the doors for me to begin my work journey at St. John's in February, 2003 as the Church Secretary. I thank God for my job and the opportunity to serve Him here. Life in the Church Office can be very interesting at times, but through it all, I've gained a great knowledge, many wonderful friendships and support of this great church. As it says in 1 John 3:18 "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity." Amen
	Vicki Wishard Financial Secretary vwishard@stjohnschambersburg.org I was ready for a change in my life and I was blessed with the opportunity to join St. John's in November, 2007. This has been a wonderful change in my life. Serving the church and gaining friendships that have impacted my life so postively. The members of St. John's Church are amazing and I am very blessed to be a part of this church as an employee and member. I am married to my best friend Bill and have a wonderful daughter Amber.
	Richard Smith Full Time Custodian Richard is the full time custodian at St. John's and has been working here for approximately 7 years. When Richard is not working with the church family, he enjoys cruising to exotic places, exploring ancient Mayan cities, and seeing the great wonders of the world. Richard likes sampling the local flavors and seeing how the rest of the world lives.
